Description

An island near the district of Tak Bai. Sapankoi 100 years wooden bridge spanning the Takbai River to Koh Yao. The east side of the island is adjacent to the sea. Beautiful white sand beach. On the island, there is a coconut plantation and a fishing village.

History

Koh Yao is located at 8 Ko Yao Island.Koh Yao has a long stretch of land along the Gulf of Thailand. Koh Yao is characterized by clean white sandy beaches and about 9 kilometers to the clear blue waters. It is 1 km from Tak Bai District. It is a tourist attraction beach which is the naturally occurring.
