Description
Koh Kai is the symbol of Satun Province. It is the midpoint of sailing from Pak Bara Pier to Koh Lipe. Surrounded by emerald waters. It is sharp, north-facing sloping rocky shore.Koh Kai is not to be missed for tourists. Location: Koh Kai, Koh Sarai sub-district, Amphoe Mueang, Satun Province, It is located about 33 kilometers from Pak Bara Pier to the southwest.Koh Kai is about 300 meters long and about 100 meters wide. It is a small rock island with about 250 meters apart , sand dunes linking the two islands. Most rocks are sandstone with directional structure. The cracks often contain iron oxide to accumulate and are more resistant to erosion than sandstone.Some areas found of the three-dimensional mesh of iron oxide, where the stone has eroded out. The northern side of the island has a rocky shoreline, made from the waves of the sea, a beautiful and strange and symbol of tourism in Satun.(Tarutao National Park does not allow overnight stay on the island, no facilities)
