From the interview with Napha Suyayai, the master of weaving, she said: “I started weaving when I was 14-15 years old and stopped when getting married. In the past, no one bought the fabric. People weaved for themselves. Later, there was the weaving source in Chiang Mai so I worked for money by weaving the small fabric as handkerchief to earn some extra income. However, the business was closed. Then, I and two friends worked in Sankamphang District when I was 20 years old. After that, I worked in a paddy field and took care of children. In 2013, the municipality called for a meeting to brainstorm what we could do to earn more income. For this reason, weaving wisdom was recognized.
