Mae Ping National Park in Chiang Mai – Thailand is a mountain range with an average height of 900 meters above sea level. Mae Ping National Park covers Doi Tao District, Chiang Mai province; Li District, Lam Phun Province; and Sam Ngao District, Tak Province. The national park consists mainly of a mountain range with an average height of 900 metres above sea level, with an abundance of stream headwaters along the hills, for example Huai Mae Had, Huai Mae Ko, Huai Pong Ka, Huai Muang, Huai Khun Maen and Huai Krai. All are tributaries of Mae Ping River.
Feature
There are rapids rocks that block the Mekong River. The Mekong River flows into the rocky rapids. Erosion makes beautiful shape. In some will look like a deep hole or maybe a cave under water. Very beautiful in the dry season, the water will erode from the island and the beach is beautiful than other seasons.
History
Kang Ka Bao is a long rapids along the Mekong. On the shore, there is a large stone courtyard for relaxing. In the dry season, the water is reduced to see the island in the middle of the water and the beach. The famous dish of the Kang Ka Bao is Grilled pork. It is also a fishing area of the villagers and Neighborhood as well.
